As of May 9th, Applecrest Farm Orchards located in Hampton Falls is now accepting SNAP/EBT! They also have Double Up Food Bucks available on all produce purchases. What this means is if a SNAP shopper purchases fruits and vegetables with their EBT card at Applecrest Farm, they will receive 50% off that produce up to $20. Applecrest offers a wide variety of foods at their beautiful farm market. You can even use SNAP/EBT and incentives for pick your own fruits including but not limited to apples, berries, and peaches (make sure to check their website for seasonal availability). This is right in time for the summer season which is fast approaching. Make sure to stop in and check out all the amazing food available. Right now, fresh picked asparagus is in season! But hurry in as it’s selling quick and can hardly stay on the shelf it’s so popular!

Gilmanton's Own

As of May 19th, Gilmanton’s Own, located in Gilmanton, is now accepting Granite State Market Match! They have already been a SNAP/EBT acceptance site for a while now, but decided to add Granite State Market Match to give their SNAP clientele 50% fresh produce. Gilmanton’s Own is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on preserving and promoting agriculture and arts in Belknap and Merrimack counties through a market located on Province Road in Gilmanton. The market, situated within a beautiful red barn, supports local farmers, artists, and artisans. Walking through the market you can find everything from paintings to meat to jewelry to veggies and so much more (there is something for everyone). SNAP shoppers can come to the market to purchase SNAP eligible foods with their EBT card and get 50% off fresh fruits and veggies while doing so. With such a wonderful selection of locally produced, grown, and raised foods, one can get all their grocery shopping done in one place.
Gilmanton’s Own South Barn Farm Market is open Thursdays 3PM-5:30PM and Saturdays 10AM-4PM.

Local Foods Plymouth, an online farmers’ market with curbside pick-up, and is now authorized to accept SNAP/EBT and is currently working to start accepting Granite State Market Match. You can order from your favorite New Hampshire food producers and farmers online, and pick up your order every Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at 79 Highland Street.
